Is there any reason women shouldn wear boys running trainers?
There is a difference, mostly in the width of the shoe – women’s feet tend to be a bit thinner. If the boys shoe is online for half the price then somewhere there will be a reputable web site selling the girls shoe cheap as well. I don’t like this approach – the shop that you visited spent their time and knowledge to find and recommend the best trainers for you and I have a personal opinion that they should be rewarded for their troubles. If the £75 is a bit too much, visit the shop again and see if they have something similar but a bit cheaper. If no one bought their running kit in shops then there would be no shops. If there was no shops there would be no one to advice runners of the best trainers for their feet. This would eb OK for experienced runners who know what to look for but for a novice runner this can have disastrous effects – the wrong shoe causes an injury with use and the novice runner stops running – both are bad for this person. So I would say to keep going to the shop
