Is there any reason why a Life-Only Agent and/or an Accident and Health Agent would require more than 24 hours of continuing education?

Yes, if the Life-Only Agent and/or the Accident and Health Agent is also licensed as a Fire and Casualty Broker-Agent, that agent would be required to complete 25 hours of CE during each of the first four 12 month periods following the date the license is issued (i.e. the first two license terms). For the third and future license terms, the Life-Only and/or Accident and Health Agent that is also licensed as a Fire and Casualty Broker-Agent would be required to complete 24 hours of continuing education credit prior to the renewal of each license. Please note that these individuals must also complete 4 hours of ethics CE as a part of, and not in addition to, the required 24 hours of CE each license term before the license can be renewed.
