Is there any problem if we make 3 primary partitions on a hard disk?..?
You can create up to four partitions on a HDD. Depending on what you plan to use those partitions for would determine the need or the lack thereof. Typically, multiple partitions are used for loading different Operating Systems. each OS on its own partition. Other use is to have two partitions, the first one for the operating system and the second for user audio, video and other files. This method keeps the OS partition clear of non-system files and easier to restore or rebuild without loss of personal files. It is also good to have a “Distribution” folder on that second partition to store downloaded applications, drivers and updates that have been installed.
