Is there any precaution necessary before or during SuJok treatment?
Su-Jok therapy is very natural therapy, but for the best purpose of therapy, patients are advised not to be too exhausted of work or pleasures, nor to be under influence of alcohol and narcotics or without enough of sleep, hungry or allergic to some substances, or to have some idiosyncrasy. E.g. patient with hemophilia (unable to stop bleeding) should not use acupuncture treatment for potential bleeding problem. Whatever problem there is, it represents disease itself and there is possibility to treat it successfully. There are patients who faint as soon as they see the needle, even before any contact with it, or they cannot stand the smell of medicinal alcohol usually present during therapy. These problems can be successfully treated too. It is generally good to advise patients to sit or lay down especially if they are very sensitive to pain or suffering of low blood pressure. Penetration of a Su-Jok needle is usually not strongly painful. Even children can accept it normally. Actually
