Is there any possible for India and Pakistan to be united as one country?
1. Survival of the Politicians on both the sides is by instigating hatred against each other a political initiative is not possible. Peoples initiative will be branded as anti-national and a terrorist act. Now who has the guts to fight the politicians, fundamentalist and the army. STILL WE CAN. 2. Jinnah’s demand for partition was only a threat to gain more political power and a sort of a guarantee of equality in a Hindu dominated India for the Muslims which was similar on the lines provisions made later in the constitution for Hindu SC/OBC/ST. 3. The economic condition of England was in a mess after the second world war and they were not in a position to take additional burden of such a huge empire with a population of over 300 million and famine in Bengal, struggle for freedom in full momentum and at places becoming violent and hence the English decided to get rid of all these burden at the earliest. 4.
