Is there any pills that cause weight gain?
Instead of trying to gain weight you should gain mass in muscles. This will make you appear bigger in a healthy manner. The problem with gaining weight for smaller individuals is when to stop gaining. When you try to gain weight you slow your metabolism down so when it comes time to stop gaining weight, your body will not know to speed it back up. Then you will be used to eating alot like you normally do and it will become mind over matter to stop eating as much and gaining weight. My advice to you is to gain muscle. Check your BMI (body mass index) as well to make sure you are within a healthy weight range. It will take time, so for know appreciate being a small American and hit the beach!
