Is there any nutritional value in tomato seeds?

0

A Search in Pubmed did not produce any results for clinical trials. Although it is all over the Internet that tomato seeds can work as aspirin but there does not seem to be any real clinical data available in this regard. It is also mentioned that any type of small seed can lodge in a diverticula ( small pouches in the colon) and cause diverticulitis, but again there are no clinical trials to show this stipulation is correct. Tomato seeds have good amount of dietary fiber therefore it they are good for constipation as any other type of dietary fiber, as long as you don’t have the diverticulosis, it can be used for constipation. I hope this helps.
