Is there any material to iron or sew on nylon?

You can’t use any iron on patches because the heat that is required to melt the glue on the patch will also melt the nylon. You will need to use some waterproof fabric glue and glue a small patch or appliqué onto your hole. most fabric stores have several types of fabric glues that can be used to patch the jacket, just be sure that you get a washable waterproof glue. If you wish to sew on a patch, use a bit of nylon similar to the jacket’s outer shell. For my kids I would take some fabric from the insides of pockets and use plain cotton to sew up the hole in the pocket. Fold the raw edge of the patch under and blind stitch along the folded edge. Place a press cloth over the patch and press with a warm iron this will make the stitches mesh with the fabric. Don’t let the iron make contact with the nylon or it could melt. The patch won’t be 100% waterproof, but it will be much better than a hole.
