-Technically, there is no link. The Interior Ministry would implement the current law as well. Holding the elections on time depends on the political blocs in the parliament. What are some of the deadlines involved with the municipal elections? -The list of candidates should be set by March 30, 2010. -Citizens should be invited to vote by April 2. -The first round of the elections should begin in Mount Lebanon by May 2.
