I personally believe multiple offers may help hold up some property values (and, we do need that in this area – more sellers would be more inclined to list their homes if they could get some value on their property). You may realize that you, like so many buyers, who are able to purchase in this market, are looking for a GOOD deal (and there are a number of them). If it seems almost too good be to true – there are others that are just as eager to get that property. As others have posted, if a property is marketed at a “priced to sell quickly,” many sellers will wait a period of time before deciding on an offer.
