Is there any internet accelerator that actually works?
The difference that a web accelerator makes is negligible. If you’re not using it already, go download Firefox 3.5. Right off the bat you should see some dramatic speed increases. Next, get an addon called “Adblock Plus” that will eliminate all ads. Web pages will load considerably faster if you can skip over the loading process for ads. Finally get a 3rd party program called Firetune to optimize firefox, which will give you a little more speed. After running this program once, you can uninstall it. All of this software is completely free and 100% trusted, I use them every time I reformat a computer (which is basically my job).
