it depends on what you call intelligent ,we think that we are the most intelligent animals on this planet because of the things we have made who is to say if say dolphins had hands they could have made things better than we have also if you broke society down and made humans live off the land then we would probably be dead in a few generations so maybe we are not as intelligent as we think we just very good at making tools and using them.As for life on other planets its very possible as there are so many planets out there, but if you think that knock our planet out of its orbit just a little bit and all life on earth would die so the question is there any life like ours out there now maybe maybe not in the future or the past 100% sure there was or will be but right now who knows.
