Is there any information on how much custom content will be able to create someone for the Sims 3? What types of Sims 2 custom content will vanish due to Sims 3 optimization?
We are supposed to be able to customize absolutely everything about in Sims 3. For instance, you will be able to customize your shoes to match the outfit etc. So, this will actually go a bit further than Sims 2. As far as Sims 2, there will not be any changes as a result of the introduction of Sims 3. Most people will probably stop customizing Sims 2 as much and start focusing on Sims 3, however, existing Sims 2 sites will probably still exist and allow users to continue to access their content. So, you probably will not get much new stuff in Sims 2. More than likely (just a guess) EA/Maxis will probably not introduce any new Sims 2 content after the introduction of Sims 3. I am sure that they will have their hands full trying to keep up with Sims 3. More of a moving forward type effort.
