Is there any guidance in the BoK concerning the use of abbreviations in the medical record?
On the Advanced Search page, type abbreviations in the full text search box, then change the results options to sort to Relevancy, Descending. This will put the most relevant articles on abbreviations at the top of the list. Be sure, also, to check in the Communities of Practice, where the topic of abbreviations comes up frequently.
