The Family Liaison Office serves all employees and family members. Additionally, the Associates of the American Foreign Service Worldwide (AAFSW), a private voluntary organization, has a special interest group for foreign- born spouses, recognizing the contributions they make to the foreign affairs community and the special challenges they face when a move to the United States is not a move “home.” Please see the AAFSW web site at http://www.aafsw.org.
