Based on the performance of the students in the examination including thesis presentation and completion of assigntments, marks are alloted and issued after the declaration of the results. The following is the standard for passing the examination: 50 percent marks – Pass marks 60 percent marks First divisions 75 percent marks Distinction Those who get less than 50 percent marks are declared fail and they are required to appear in the examination/viva voce again.
