Is there any good sources where I can can compare Freuds Psychodynamic and Maslows humanistic theory?
i dont’ know but i wanna comment if u may wanna read them freud psychodynamic talks about libido energy which manifest human’s basis urge to form personality ( but that is not the only urge of human as maslows put it down in his pyramid shape) so in the view between these thwo i think freuds focus on sexual “symptom” of each character which links to how one would develop in life…it is like the natural tendency of the person for me what is more deeper or goes beyond the sexual facade are human drives for survival and security which are ground for human lives and give opportunity for human to express all other needs from love to self confidencne and self actualization for me maslows theory are very loose and subjective… as for freuds are more objective moreover, i think it also depends on the society where they are from….coz all studies have to be based upon a group of experimental evidence….so in the freud society something which is suppress of him to talk about might likely be
