Is there any good snorkeling on Little Cayman?
There is some snorkeling, but to be truthful it is kind of limited. There is a barrier reef about 1/4 mile east of my house, and the area inside that barrier reef is a great place to go snorkeling. The water is protected and generally less than about 6′ deep, so there’s all kinds of stuff to see and places to explore. Outside of that one protected area, you’re going to need to plunge down to at least 30′-40′ to see very much. If you’re an experienced snorkeler, this is no big deal. But if not, then you’re probably going to be restricted to the area I mentioned above.
