Is there any Global benchmark for Inventory Shrinkage?
I am trying to gather information on the acceptable Inventory shrinkage at Finished goods WHs to measure performance of my current set of WHs (There is always pressure from other stake holders like Finance and top management to reduce shrinkage). Is there any ready made database available which can give me the standards followed industry wise (Retail, Automotive spares, Electronics etc), Location wise (Asia, America, Europe etc) for %age SKU accuracy, %age Inventory accuracy over stock value, %age accuracy over throughput. Additional info is also welcome.
