Is there any geographic effect on canadian cuisine?
Well local food has a lot to do with what is commonly eaten in restaurants, home etc. If you go to St jacobs farmers market in KW, they hav a lot of local grown veggies, maple syrup and all that, but go to East coast and all you’ll see are lobsters, crabs, and more lobsters. (yum.) Since people generally would rather buy local (fresher, better for environment, cheaper) then the local fare will differ anywhere you go. Personally though, I don’t think you can define Canadian cuisine very well… but the food you see in different places can really vary according to what type of produce/livestock/fish you find in that area.
