Is there any free website who teaches cloths sewing and drafting patterns simple way.?
I like to learn basic idea of making my own dress .Is there any link,sites where i can get basic tips for taking body measurements according to patterns . It’s such a complex subject that you’re really better off with working your way through a book, imo. On the basic, basic end of things, there’s Don McCunn’s How to Make Sewing Patterns. The book I prefer is meant for design students: Connie Crawford’s Patternmaking Made Easy. There are some drafting instructions around on the web for various garments — other than ethnic garments (which are largely derived from geometric shapes), the instructions range from pretty good to abysmal.
