Is there any financial assistance for students on exchanges?
OSAP recipients retain their eligibility for OSAP, but you must notify the Student Awards Office of your intent to study abroad through Laurier International. You may need to arrange for a trusted person to become your Power of Attorney. The PoA will have authority to pick up your OSAP funding from the Student Awards Office. If this applies to you, more information on this process will be given to you once you have been accepted into the exchange program. Most scholarships will allow study abroad.
