Is there any financial aid or scholarships for MA students?
MA students fund their studies from a variety of sources such as Graduate Assistantships, loans, grants, and personal resources. Richmond also offers a limited number of partial scholarships. For example, the Garfield Weston Scholarship fund provides scholarships annually to graduate students worthy of special consideration based on academic achievement and graduate study interest. Preference is given to students from Britain, Canada, or Australia. Applicants from other countries will be considered. To be considered for scholarship, please check the scholarship box on the application for admission form. If you are a U.S. citizens or a U.S. green card holder, you may qualify for Stafford loans. To apply you must complete the Free application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). You may complete this form online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. In the U.S. you can also call 1-8004FED AID to request a form.
