Is there any financial aid for MPIA students in Alexandria?
Students in the MPIA program will on occasion get the opportunity to work part-time as researchers on faculty projects and program development. Also, once every two years an assistantship is made available to Northern Virginia students who wish to go to school full time. This assistantship allows students to take up to 12 credit hours tuition free and pays a modest stipend of about $1500 per month. However, students are not allowed to hold any other employment positions. Contact the MPIA Director for details.
