Is there any experience with the nexttec™ kit in isolating DNA from avian blood?

0

Unlike in mammalian blood the erythrocytes in avian blood contain nuclei. Therefore erythrocytes can also be used as a source for DNA isolation. The nexttec™ Genomic DNA Isolation Kit for Blood (15 µl) with a special protocol was succesfully used for DNA isolation from avian blood. The protocol is available on this homepage.
