Is there any evidence to suggest that anti-depressants can cause long term side effects/health problems?
Yes there is evidence, although it is evidence that the drug companies tend not to bring to the forefront, and sometimes fail to disclose, as common knowledge of the evidence would greatly affect their sales/profits. Movement disorders such as Tardive Dyskinesia which also occur on antipsychotics and are often permanent, Akathisia, chronic akathisia, tardive akathisia, Sexual Dysfunction, to name a few.
