Is there any evidence that young children viewing the pictures are emotionally harmed?
I am aware of not one study that has found this to be true. I have displayed the large pictures on the lawn of the State Capitol, and driven trucks with the pictures around the country. I have NEVER seen a small child get upset with the pictures. It is usually when mom or dad start yelling or crying, that the little guy or gal, sensing the emotion, also becomes upset. Large groups of kids from K on up walk by our displays at the Capitol, not displaying any evidence of being upset. They are curious. What is that mom? A good mom will say that it is a picture of a baby that was not loved and it was not allowed to live. The people showing the pictures want to help stop the people from hurting more babies. If in fact the pictures displayed in public were harmful to children, not only would there be laws against it, there would be lawsuits across the country bringing civil suits against us.
