At the end of Dragon Quest 6 Zenithia Castle appears to be the only thing left of the upper (dream) world (as found in Dragon Quest 4 and 5.) An egg hatches at the end of Dragon Quest 6. Ian Kelly translated the dialogue of the characters as the egg hatches: Zenis: Yeah….it’s finally been raised, our future….. Barbara: I wonder what it will be like, our future….Oh! It’s started to hatch! In the egg could be the Master Dragon of Dragon Quest 4 and 5 rather than the literal future. Dragon Quest 6 was possibly before Dragon Quest 4 and 5.
