Is there any evidence that drinking milk helps reduce blood pressure?
The dairy-rich eating plan of the DASH (Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension) diet demonstrated a reduction in blood pressure when studied in people with high blood pressure. The low-fat diet included eight to ten servings of fruits and vegetables and three servings of low-fat dairy foods. The low-fat dairy foods help maintain good calcium intake, and boost potassium and magnesium intake.
