Is there any English requirement to study ESL?
There is no English requirement to study English at the U of R ESL Program. Whether you are a beginner, or an advanced English student, the ESL program has qualified instructors that will help you to learn and/or improve your English. The core courses are highly academic, but there is room in the electives to choose among academic, business, and cultural courses in all levels of English. Core courses are organized according to skill level: 005 Low Basic, 010 Basic, 020 – High Basic, 030 – Low Intermediate, 040 – High Intermediate, and 050 Advanced.
