If your PC has a PS2 mouse port (a round plug, similar to the plug for your keyboard), buy a PS2 mouse to replace your serial mouse. Most newer computers also have USB ports. You can try using a USB mouse. Make sure your HotSync cradle and modem don’t have conflicting IRQs. (Com 1 and Com 3 share an Interrupt. Com 2 and Com 4 share an Interrupt.
