Is there any difference between tylenol and advil?

Tylenol is acetaminophen (sp) an aspirin substitute. It has side affects all its own. Ibuprofen is a milder more buffered stomach friendly pain reliever. With its own side affects. Please don’t mix the two. I take ibuprofen for muscle aches and pains. I can’t take acetaminophen because it has been know to cause liver and kidney damage. If your headache doesn’t go away with Tylenol; wait awhile to see if it works. Later when the Tylenol has passed from your system; try the Advil. Please don’t mix medication; even over the counter medicines. If these medicines don’t relieve your headache, if it lingers for hours longer, or especially if it worsens or affects your vision in any way; see a doctor immediately. It could be many things. but an accurate diagnosis will better determine the medicine that works best. It could be your sinuses too. If that is the case I recommend Sudephedrine. There are so many causes of headaches these days. Like the computer screen glare, tension, weather changes
