Ans. Water softeners don’t remove any contaminants from water. They only softens water by removing carbonates, like CaCo3 and MgCo3. However the water filters remove variety of contaminants from water and make them hygienic for drinking purpose. Different water filters are efficient in removing some specific type of impunities.
