Is there any deadline for HKU transfer students to apply?
A. Internal transfer during 1st year of study is not normally allowed.If you wish to apply for a transfer of study, you will have to make a formal application in writing to the Registrar after the final examination in 2nd semester and before June 30, stating in the letter the curriculum you wish to transfer, the reasons for the application and your results in public examination. (Please also include your correspondence address and contact phone numbers in case the faculty would offer you an interview.) Your application will then be passed on to the Faculty concerned for consideration. Please submit your application to the Registrar via the Academic Services Enquiry Office at Rm UG-05, Knowles Building, HKU.
