Is there any company directory that can provide direct contact information of decision-makers?
I don’t know what you are selling however, I deal with multilayer organizations and if I really want to get directly to the source i do the following.First, I research the company structure on their website,and through other means such as the zoomer, as I call it.The zoomer is the same old thing they have shown on the old movies, you pander to someone and find out from them, or you call and request the accounts payable department. Before contacting the company, first have your list of guesses down, when the AP person receives your call, bother them as much as you can so they will give you the persons name.Example:I call and start ranting about an e-mail I got on a pre determined sum of a check I will be receiving however, I accidently deleted the e-mail and start guessing my list or they tell me to get me off of their back.The logic behind that is the person who buys stuff will have direct bearing on whether or not you can sell it to that company.In theory and reality, that is a tactic
