Is there any chance that stamped concrete will crack?
Concrete, by nature, will crack. However, numerous measures can be taken to highly reduce cracking. Control joints (saw cut or tooled joint) are designed and placed within the concrete to create a plane of weakness to help control where the crack will occur. Concrete Masters also recommend adding Polypropylene Fibermesh Reinforcement and/or Rebar reinforcement. By adding a little additional cost up front, can add years to the life of your decorative concrete.
