Is there any chance of the Energon storyline continuing?
Of the three uncompleted DW storylines [G1, War Within and Energon], Energon perhaps has the smallest chance of ever being finished. As it was based on the then-incumbent toyline, it suffers from Energon being superseded by Cybertron, meaning Hasbro would have little interest in a continuation, though they’d be unlikely to actively block it. The title has also attracted the smallest fan interest of the three curtailed series. That said, with Furman engaged as IDW’s key writer, it shouldn’t be ruled out. 07.
