Is there any branch of engineering without chemistry?

0

You hate all chemistry or just organic chemistry? You’ll be pretty hard pressed to find any branch of engineering that doesn’t require at least some basic understanding of chemistry. Even computer engineering programs traditionally require at least a basic understanding of electrical engineering and, through that, physical chemistry. That having been said, the amount of chemistry you’ll be exposed to in most computer or electrical engineering programs is minimal. Our programs here handle the required information as part of the e.e. coursework. There is no requirement to take any actual chemistry classes. Comp. Sci. programs on the other hand (which are usually really just software engineering programs) require no understanding of electrical engineering, chemistry, or really any physical science at all. It’s all applied mathematics over there.
