Is there any book or article on winter markets in France or Europe?
Answer Hi . . . Carlos! France in December can be great fun. The summer tourist mobs are gone, lots of people enjoying themselves, with family and friends, etc. Things are more relaxed and less crowded. People enjoying the season and being with others! Below are some quick information items from a couple of source on the holiday markets. My understanding would be that the prime focus is the December period, not in January. Germany has some really activities in this area. The Alsace area is very nice. Was there last summer. I would suggest checking with the tourism offices in the towns where you are planning to visit in France.
