You could try ginger tea or dandelion root tea about half an hour before meals. Both herbs are known digestives and appetite stimulants. If you feel run down, you could alternatively try Swedish Bitters. They are well-known for both purposes. I suggest though that you only look for the non-alcohol version as the alcohol version would not be without its problems if you were to take this on a regular basis. Be safe….be well…insha’Allah.
