Is there any application for overclocking the CPU, which will support all Operating Systems?
Sai, I’m unsure why overclocking the CPU would aid different OS. Device selection and trace layout/routing is selected to operate within certain speeds, e.g. set-up and hold times. If the operation exceeds these; either on the high or low side, instability can occur (e.g. data errors, inter-comm errors, inappropriate task execution, processor and/or board locks, etc.). If it is required to operate the board at a higher clock rate, a thorough check of all affected devices (I/O, memory, glue logic), shared buses needs to be validated before attempting a sample change.
