Is there any advantage to surveying near a CORS monument?
Not really. It would be an advantage if you were using a single base system, then the corrections at the base would more closely mirror those of the rover. But because WISCORS utilizes a network approach to establishing virtual base stations, any location inside the network has the same degree of integrity, no matter how far you are from a physical base station.
