No, the Knowledge tools that install with Service Desk are included in the base license. In addition, there is an Advanced Knowledge Tools Option CD included with the Unicenter Service Desk 5.5 distribution that does require additional licensing. You can install this CD to get a 30 day free evaluation of the Advanced Knowledge Tools features. Customers who have purchased the Advanced Knowledge Tools Option will need to update their license file with the appropriate license utility. To purchase this option, customers should contact their sales associate.
