Is there any additional funding available for telecommunications with the new system?
There will be no additional funds available to support on-going telecommunications costs. These costs will need to be covered through the current grant that each Local Agency receives. However, you can apply for a supplemental grant for one-time costs (such as wiring) or start-up fees. To begin the process, please consult with the Operations Unit staff about the request. If you decide to proceed with the request, please work with your Program Consultant to complete MOM Exhibit 2C, “Request of Increase in Supplemental Funding”.
