Is there any added noise with the Short Stick?
The Short Stick bolts directly to the shifter stem which is a direct metal-to-metal contact which is the same scenario as with all aftermarket shifters (e.g. Hurst, B&M, etc.). This ensures the most positive, accurate, and solid feel as possible. As with the aftermarket shifters, there may be some additional noise due to this metal-to-metal contact, however, it should be minimal if at all.
