Is there any ad agency or other institution in India which promotes new magazine publishers by providing ads ?
at my agency, pubs send free copies to the media buy people, they also (because they had the capital to do so) would sell “bulk media buys” where you could buy a really good spread in a highly read publication but also had to buy space in lesser pubs… same is true with TV spots… There are tons of creatives who’d kill to run stuff for free (spec.) that way they can get their ads in award shows… but I don’t think that will solve your problem. there are a ton of blogs and sites about advertising in india, as it is one of the hottest markets in the world… I don’t have all my old bookmarks but you can start with aaaindia, http://www.magindia.com/ and adsoftheworld.
