Go to http://www.gourmetsleuth.com This program will convert volume amounts to weight. Just click on “conversions” at the top of the home page. Enter in the food item and how many cups/tablespoons you have and choose the weight in pounds/oz/grams. Of course, I doubt if any online volume/weight conversion program has every food item in their data base. There are other websites out there that do the same thing. http://www.fareshare.net and http://www.onlineconversion.com/weight_v… both have something similar. These programs use a data base of food items that list their average weight for a given volume. It isn’t very accurate because of density changes.
