I swear I heard a term relating to sexual dimorphism while watching one of the UK wildlife park TV series that sounded like… wissen or wisser (possibly a German word and pronounced as such) The zoo keeper was referring to the size difference (f>m) in tapirs and I am really hoping it wasn’t simply the name of one of the damn beasts or an obscure adjective that I don’t know describing shade or colour. This has been bugging me for weeks and I asked the interwebs but to no avail.
