Is there another good way to make sirloin steak besides grilling?
In a pan. Heat a pan with oil. Season steak with s & p and brown it on the first side. Flip it over and place the pan into a 400F oven until the steak is done as you like. It will oly take a couple of minutes. You can also add things to the pan like a sprig of rosemary, a clove of garlic, cherry tomatoes, asparagus, spinach, mushrooms, green onions or anything else you like either for flavour or any veggie that will cook quickly. When the steak comes out of the oven, let a knob of butter melt on top while you let the steak rest for 10 minutes. It will be delicious and quick! Hope this helps! A marinade isn’t necessary for a piece of meat that tender but you could marinade it for flavour for a short time. Oil herbs and garlic is simple and delicious. Avoid acids when marinading tender cuts unless you marinate for only a very short time or the meat will break down and become mushy. All the best!
