It is a violation of city ordinance for sound to be generated by the device in a vehicle that can clearly be heard by someone with normal hearing at a distance of 75 feet (think of 75 feet as the width of three (3) standard Berwyn residential lots. Anyone who violates this ordinance is subject to a fine of up to $750.00 plus a $500.00 impound fee.
